Salermo HR Services was founded in 2017 with a clear mission: help small businesses grow without the costly mistakes that come from figuring out HR on the fly. Since then, we've worked with more than 50 businesses across the US and internationally — hospitality, wellness, cannabis, creative industries, and beyond — each one with its own culture, its own challenges, and its own version of "I cannot believe this is actually happening right now."

We approach every client with fresh eyes and zero judgment. We've seen a lot. We'll help you fix it, or better yet, help you avoid it in the first place.

Founder
I grew up around small business. My family built something with their own hands, and I watched up close what it costs — in time, in money, in stress — when you don't have the right support around you.

That's what sent me into HR. I spent more than 15 years doing HR inside large organizations — learning how policy gets written, how companies protect themselves, how to hold the line without losing the room. Then I took all of that and brought it to the businesses that need it most but can rarely afford a full HR department.

I'm also a Latina-American woman who has spent her career sitting across from people from every background, in every kind of situation. I'll make you feel heard. I'll also tell you the truth. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

When I'm not navigating someone's HR situation, I'm probably writing. I'm working on a book about real HR situations and what they actually teach you about human behavior — because after this many years, the stories write themselves.

I care about small business because that is how my family made a living. I know firsthand what the right HR strategy can mean — and what the wrong one costs.
